New Heights Capsule for Sheckler

After designing a series of skateboard graphics for Ryan Sheckler’s brand Sandlot Times, the opportunity came up to design a special capsule celebrating his 25-year anniversary as a professional skateboarder. With the release of his Lifer part in collaboration with Red Bull and his long-standing place as a household name in skateboarding, it was clear this artwork needed to feel meaningful and elevated.

I took it a step further and created a set of limited merch pieces as a surprise for Ryan and his team, all under the capsule title New Heights. The name felt fitting - not just for a milestone in his career, but also for where he was in life at the time, starting a family and becoming a father, which I personally connected with as well. That overlap made the project feel even more powerful.

I leaned fully into my pattern-based style while pushing into new territory, incorporating elements that spoke to Ryan’s faith and a soaring eagle that tied directly to the New Heights theme. I’m incredibly grateful to have been part of such a special moment in his career and proud of how the project came together. Topping it all off was gifting him a one-of-one, hand-painted version of the board on the red carpet at the Red Bull premiere - an unforgettable moment I’ll always be stoked on.
